Submit a matching donation and help WPCampus support others

Subscribe to Community Blog updates

One of our WPCampus traditions is to use the “previously allocated to swag” portion of our event planning budget to support a nonprofit organization. Swag is fun, but it can be wasteful. We choose to use those funds to help people in and outside of our community.

Traditionally, we sponsor a fundraising campaign to support an organization that is local to our in-person conference. For WPCampus 2019, we raised $3,000 for Free Geek in Portland, Oregon. For WPCampus 2020, which was hosted online, we matched $2,540 in donations to recognize and support the vital #BlackLivesMatter movement and those struggling with COVID-19.

We are honored to continue this tradition for WPCampus 2021 Online and ask that you join us in support of these wonderful organizations that we believe are making a big difference for our global community.

How to submit a matching donation

For this year's fundraising efforts, we have chosen five organizations and will match up to USD $3,000 in donations to these selected organizations.

To participate: learn about eligibility and submit your donation receipt to one of our selected organizations. We will accept submissions until September 30, 2021, or when we've met our $3,000 match limit.
